1. Establishes A Systematic Process
The Approach is a way of delivering good information to make good IT decisions. That requires a systematic process (i.e., an "analytic framework") to collect, analyze, and synthesize data. Not just when the initial choice is made; but, through implementation and beyond.
We’ll describe the process, the data, and decisions in three interrelated phases: IT Selection, Control, and Evaluation.
Remember, these questions are not unlike those asked in most organizations. What distinguishes the Approach is the systematic organization of the many steps needed to effectively answer them.
