descriptions?
Individual course descriptions for online
viewing or download are available at multiple
locations; start with the “At-a-Glance” or list
sections.
- Is a print course catalog
available?
No. Complete course information is available in
electronic format in this section of RMS’ website.
- Who typically attends these
courses?
Participants come from diverse backgrounds and with
varying levels of expertise. A typical public course
might include: both business and government
personnel; technical and business professionals; and
people with little or no background in the topic to
“experts” seeking a refresher course.
- Where are your public courses
presented?
At present, the majority of our public course
sessions are delivered at one of several training
locations in Manhattan, New York. The overwhelming
majority of our courses are delivered for our
clients at their own facilities located throughout
North America.
- Do you offer public courses
outside of New York City?
We do; but they are not usually listed on our
website. Public courses delivered by RMS outside of
New York City are delivered in cooperation with a
“sponsoring organization”. The organization may
be a government agency, business, or non-profit
organization. Typically, sponsoring organizations do
not have enough people to warrant the cost of an
on-site session but are willing to host a session
and allow participants from other organizations to
attend. If you think this might be worth
considering, just call us – we’ll tell you how
it might work for your organization.
- How many seats are available in
a training course?
The maximum seating for public courses in New York
City is for 12 participants. RMS does not overbook
its courses.
- Does RMS cancel public courses
in New York City?
RMS has never cancelled a public course offered in
New York City. We do not cancel a course due to “low
enrollment”. Although an extreme condition could
force a course cancellation in the future, such
condition has never arisen in RMS’ 20-year
training history.
- Do you offer any certifications
or credits for your courses?
RMS is licensed to grant CPE (Continuing
Professional Education) credits for many of our
courses. In addition, participants in courses
delivered by RMS in cooperation with local Project
Management Institute chapters may be eligible for
PMI PDU credits issued through the local member
Chapter.
- I have read the course
description; but, I’m still not sure if the course
is right for me. Can I get additional information to
help me decide?
Our training representatives and training presenters
welcome your questions. Don’t hesitate to call us
at 212-633-2001 with your questions or e-mail us at inquiries@rms.net.
You will speak with a training specialist, not a
salesperson! If the training is right for you we’ll
say so; if it is not, we won’t hesitate to tell
you.
- I would like to attend the
workshop, but the course is listed as “FULL”. Do
you maintain “standby” lists?
Yes. Simply call us and we will place your name on a
waiting list. We’ll contact you if a seat becomes
available.
- Does RMS make hotel reservations
or have a recommended hotel?
Dozens of hotels are located within a few minutes
walking distance of our Manhattan training
facilities. We do not make reservations or have a
recommended hotel. However, we do provide a list of
hotels with approximate room rates and walking
distances to our training facilities for your
convenience.
- How do I register on-line?
You may register
on-line through our secure site.
