Insurance Industry
Everyone is moving their businesses on to the web these days; insurance companies are no different. They have found room to compete with financial institutions through e-commerce initiatives by offering both financial services and their traditional insurance companies online. For customers who feel more comfortable speaking to live agents rather than getting information from the Internet, however, leading edge insurance companies have started to equip their agents with Internet-ready PDA's so that they can access financial information for their customers more readily.
