What does the CD contain that comes with the book? Is the content different?

The CD-ROM contains highlighted material from the book, along with bonus material not found in the book, unless otherwise specified on the product detail page for the product, found on the Web site

How do I customize forms and templates?

  • To customize forms and templates, follow these instructions:
  • Locate the title of the item that you want to customize on the Table Of Contents page.
  • Right-click on it and select Save Target As.
  • Browse to the desired location on your system and complete the save.

The new file may be Read-Only. If so, just open it and do another Save As. You will then have a version that you can edit however you like.

What is the TechRepublic product disclaimer?

These CD's have been tested on Windows 98, 2000, NT and XP and are fully functional based on a standard computer. We have no way of knowing what other software programs, pop-up blockers, security settings, or games an individual may have installed on their computer that may not be compatible.

Typically problems with TechRepublic CD's are related to a setting or something loaded on the individual's computer that prevents them from working properly. Most notably are pop-up blockers.
